We warmly welcome all children and families to our Preschool community
Brentwood is a community preschool offering a 4-year-old and 3-year-old programs and is managed by a Committee of Management, made up of parent volunteers. It is our hope that all children in our programs are happy and excited about coming to our kindergarten and that all families feel valued and develop a sense of belonging to our kindergarten community.
Our preschool continually strives to build upon the excellent facilities, ensuring all children have an interesting and stimulating environment, range of equipment and activities from which to learn and explore their own uniqueness. uniqueness.
Funded Bi-lingual Early Childhood Language Program (ECLP)
From 2024 we are excited to be considered a bi-lingual kindergarten teaching Spanish in our 4 year old program. Our Early Childhood Language teacher Paty Bedian incorporates Spanish in the 4 year old group through routines, play, conversation and songs. 
The Resilience Project
Our kindergarten is implementing the Resilience Project within our 3 and 4 year old programs, through SRF funding. Their mission is to teach positive mental health strategies to help people become happier and more resilient.
They deliver emotionally engaging programs and provide evidence-based, practical wellbeing strategies to build resilience.
The research is clear; the more positive emotion you experience, the more resilient you will be. For that reason, we focus on three key pillars proven to cultivate positive emotion; Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness (GEM). Our programs also have a strong focus on Connection, Purpose, Kindness, Emotional Literacy and Physical Health. 
Upgraded Outdoor PlaySpace
In 2022 we received a major school building grant to develop our outdoor learning space. See more pictures under the Program News tab.
National Quality Standards
In December 2021 we received an Exceeding Rating. We are proud of this achievement and feel that it reflects the positive outcomes that we aim for at our preschool.
