Enrol your child in kinder for 2026!
It is time to enrol your children in kindergarten for 2026.
Brentwood Preschool will be delivering hours of Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and 15 hours of Four-Year-Old Kindergarten each week.
Free Kinder will continue to be available at our service next year, which means there is no charge for your child to access our programs.
From 2026, Pre-Prep will be available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children from a refugee or asylum seeker background and children who have had contact with Child Protection across the state. Any child who was supported by Early Start Kindergarten or Access to Early Learning in their Three-Year-Old Kindergarten year is also eligible for Pre-Prep from 2026. Pre-Prep hours will range from 16 to 25 hours each week for children who meets this eligibility criteria. Pre-Prep will start for all 4-year-olds in Brentwood Preschool in 2026.
Go to vic.gov.au/sending-child-kinder for more information about kindergarten programs, including eligibility for Pre-Prep and starting age. Registration for Three-Year-Old Kindergarten occurs the year before, often when your child is 2.
